Skip Diegel

Ammie Ryan

Skip Diegel was born in Ann Arbor Michigan, and began his long time radio career as a young teen, where he borrowed records from friends, to play on his show.  Skip has worked at a number of radio stations and advertising agencies all across the country.  This unique background gives him an extra edge when it comes to bringing a creative flair to the table, for on-air clients.  He has always had a passion for radio, and works hard to have a format that stands apart from many of the “cookie cutter” sounds heard today.  Skip moved to the New Smyrna Beach area and purchased WSBB in 2008, and has worked hard to cultivate a team that he calls “The best of the best.”  He believes strongly that the station should serve the needs of the community and deliver the best programming possible.  When not on the air, you may find Skip on the tennis courts or out and about at one of the areas many art galleries or theaters.
Ammie Ryan is an area native with deep family roots, and is a proud mother of two.  She brings over two decades of radio experience to the stations of WSBB, and has worked in a variety of different formats, both on the air and in program management. With a passion for creativity she’s always had a love of audio production and creating the ideal commercial spots for clients has been one of her favorite parts of the industry. Ammie also works providing voice-overs for radio, television, film and more, and you may have heard her narration on some of your favorite movies, or even as you use your GPS Navigation System.  With a background in theater and acting, don’t be surprised if you find her on stage at one of our many area theaters!

Mike Jenkins was born with music in his blood.  His father was a professional musician and music therapist.  Mike began his broadcasting career while studying music at Marion College and Indiana University.  His work took him all over the country including stints in Sebring and Tallahassee Florida, Lubbock Taxes, and back to central Indiana where he spent the last 24 years hosting a top rated morning show.  Mike retired in 2011 after 47 years in radio broadcasting, and he’s also retired from playing music but he does still write arrangements for various big bands.  Mike and his wife Lynn settled in Edgewater in 2017 when he discovered WSBB on the dial and thought “WSBB Is a jewel, I would love to be a part of it!”  When not hosting Saturday mornings, Mike can often be found spending time with his children and grandchildren

David Jenkins moved to the Sunshine State several years ago from Indiana, where he already began to build his experience in radio, following his father’s broadcasting footsteps.  You can catch David on The Sports Talk Show with Tracy Dent from 6-7p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, where he works as the show’s producer.  David also spends his days working with the Special Education Program at Seabreeze High School, and when not working with the students, David can often be found enjoying all things sports related!
